Training and Internship Programme Support for Ukrainian Municipalities (TIPS4UA)
This initiative focuses on building capacity and providing technical support to the Ukrainian local and regional authorities staff, responding to urgent calls made at the Ukrainian Recovery Conferences following the Russian aggression in 2022. By enhancing the administrative and technical capabilities of local authorities, TIPS4UA aims to empower them to effectively manage recovery and reconstruction efforts, ensuring a resilient and sustainable future for Ukraine.
The programme provides comprehensive training and internship support to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian municipalities and intermunicipal cooperation in the reconstruction and development. The programme equips municipal officials with the knowledge and experience needed for effective project management, supporting Ukraine’s recovery, EU membership, and fostering sustainable international partnerships.
The programme is built around the following objectives: enhancing the administrative absorption capacity of Ukrainian municipalities when managing projects, and facilitating knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning between Ukrainian and European local authorities.
