Green Narratives
The main goal of Green Narratives is to show adults that sustainability is not something abstract or reserved for experts, but something they can bring into daily life through simple actions, inspiration from others, and creative learning. We aim to build a bridge between “big green policies” and everyday people, especially those who often feel excluded from educational opportunities.
Our objectives are:
1. Increase socio-ecological awareness among adults. At least 45 adults (15 per partner) will join Sustainability Story Evenings. These events will feature real-life stories of individuals who already started eco-actions in their communities. By listening to peers, participants will see that change is achievable step by step with simple resources.
2. Develop innovative tools that connect digital and ecological competences. All partners will co-create the Green Toolbox of Change, a card-based game also available in digital form. Each card will have two steps: o A “Green Action Now” – something small participants can do immediately during the game (e.g., water a plant, repair an item). o A “Community Green Action” – a related initiative they can implement in their local setting (e.g., a clothes swap or a booksharing box). Cards will have clear design, simple instructions, and motivational quotes. The toolbox will be tested in Boardgames Evenings in each country to ensure it is practical and engaging.
3. Inspire and implement at least 9 community-led micro-actions. After the Storytelling and Boardgames Evenings, participants will be encouraged to start their own small initiatives. Each partner will support at least three adults to implement and document their actions in short storytelling videos, so that the circle of inspiration continues.
4. Disseminate and celebrate results through a final Green Narrative Evening. The project will end with a public event in Malta, gathering at least 50 adults and stakeholders. This event will showcase the videos, present the Toolbox, and highlight community-led actions.
