The Local Councils’ Association conducted an information session for elected members on Community Policing and Risk Assessment together with the Malta Police Force and the Civil Protection Unit respectively. This is so that the Residents can best benefit from these services.
The concept of Community Policing already works in several localities and more will be announced in the following weeks. On the other hand, the Civil Protection is looking at the possibilities of risk assessment in individual localities as part of a pilot project.
